From the 6th to the 12th of March we had a team from Michigan State University spend a week on UJ campus and in Soweto doing  ministry with us.  It was great to have them here meet with our student athletes and really create a buzz on campus about Athletes in Actions.  We had the opportunity to hold several team meetings where the MSU students could give their testimonies and share the gospel.  It gave a lot more credibility to our ministry to have students from the US join with us and the players really responded to them.  We held a braai towards the end of their week here where over 80 student-athletes came and got the opportunity to here the gospel and how they could be involved in a bible study or discipleship with AIA.  One of our team meetings was with the women's UJ soccer team, every single girl on the team filled out a comment card saying they wanted to have more information on how to be involved with a bible study and wanted to hear more about how faith and sport interact!  The MSU students were also able to experience the Lion and Rhino Park, Carnivore Restaurant, and Soccer City where the final match of the World Cup will be held.  The MSU team really left a mark on the South  African soil!
