Join Our Touring Soccer Team in 2010!!!

We want YOU to be a part of our touring teams for the month of June in 2010. We are looking for local athletes who want to make an eternal impact with their winter holiday break from June 6-24, 2010.

With the eyes of the world on South Africa for the World Cup Athletes in Action (AIA) South Africa believes that God will use this event to turn many hearts back to Him. Come and join us during the time during the World Cup as we seize this opportunity and use the language of sport to give people what they really need, eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ.

AIA South Africa is seeking to provide the local church with men and ladies soccer teams to aid them during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. You will help us as a soccer player and footballer in the following ways:
 
-playing in football games/tournaments
-coaching clinics/camps
-one-on-one ministry
-mass exposure through media
-evangelism through large screen viewings of games
and much more…

There is a language that transgresses all languages, cultures, race and gender - it is the language of sport. It is the only language that can unify a nation and its people. People may not go to church but they will go to a sports event, and Christian athletes the world over are using the language of sport to tell the story of the good news of Jesus Christ.

The outreach will be for three weeks. We start on 6-10 June with a training conference at the Grootvlei Sports Academy and Adventure Camp just outside of Pretoria (www.grootvleisport.co.za). From the 11-24 June your team will be sent out to partner with a local church and play matches.

The cost for the outreach is R4000. This includes all accommodation, food, transport, kit, equipment and outreach materials.
