OTHER PRAYER REQUESTS:
University of Johannesburg: We have just registered AIA on Bunting Campus, please pray as we approach the university coaches that they will let us come and speak to their teams and get contacts. Also pray for the Kingsway ministry that it will be sustained. Also pray for the student leaders that they would be strenghthened and not discouraged.
Monthly socials for pro soccer players (first Monday of every month): Please pray that we can recconnect with the players next season.
DVD: We're struggeling to finalize the DVD, please pray for direction in that process.
Dutch Team: There will be 35 Dutch teams coming the 24th of July until the 8th of August to help churches do follow-up with the community members they've connected with. Please pray that the Dutch will be able to find a point person in every church who can establish sports ministry in the church.
SA AIA Basketball Team (part of GBL): Pray that other teams will notice the difference with the AIA team. That God will be glorified through our team. Fundraising- pray for sponsorship for kits, transport, and expenses during projects. Pray that true discipleship will begin to happen on the team.
2010: Teams- South African teams, International teams, 20 in total (27 June- 4 July). Training Conference (6-10 June) pray for transport and hosts, speakers, program, training materials, kit, and music. Outreaches (10-27 June) in 9 cities, pray for all their needs and partnerships with churches. Chaplaincy- AIA staff ministering to all National teams, pray that the teams will be open to the chaplains. 2010 overall budget, and pray for city liaisons, team's accommodations, food, and support teams (doctor, physio, prayer, etc.)
Dutch Teams (end of July - beginning of August): Prayer for good partnerships with churches.

Answered Prayer Requests:
Website/Blog: It has been a blessing to us as we have had many people contact us through the website.
University of Johannesburg: We have registered AIA on Campus and have made contact with several of the university coaches and players.
SA Pro Tour to India: We thank the Lord there are 2 professional players and 1 coach that left for India on May 2nd!
Sport and Life: In total we had 28 coaches, players, and their wives and girlfriends attending. Most of the players were from FCAK soccer club. We also had the whole U-19 National Ladie's Soccer team in attendance. 8 People recieved Jesus Christ as their Savior and 4 re-dedicated their lives to God again!
Socials: We thank the Lord for the Socials we've had and the impact they've had on the players. We will resume the Socials in August, at the beginning of the season.
High Profile Youth Camp: The camp was cancelled but God has given us a new strategy to reach up and coming high profile athletes. We're very thankful for this new direction. More news to come.
Confederation Cup: We thank the Lord for the people who came to the conference. We now pray that the word would spread and people would catch the vision.
Coaches Clinic: We had a successful clinic, many coaches and players were exposed to the gospel but also basketball training. We were able to establish a better relationship with the GBL and BSA which will lead to more opportunities in the future.
Plett 2009: Over 1000 people were exposed to the gospel. The Lord really unified the team and changed lives within the team as well as on the beach. Only one rainy day the whole mission!









Prayer
